Core activity: manual handling of plasterboards in order to construct interior building.
Knowledge: supplying, fixing and jointing of plasterboard sheets and accessories to timber and steel framed walls and ceilings to form standard, bracing, fire rated, wet area and sound rated systems.
Application: handle and store sheets and accessories in dry conditions stored indoors out of direct sunlight in neat flat stacks of the floor with no sagging and avoiding damage to ends, edges and surfaces.
Materials: Gypsum plasterboards, gypsum linings, steel sheets and strips (hot-dipped, zinc-coated or aluminum-zinc-coated), ceiling battens (metal, timber), water resistant gypsum backing board, nails, screws, external angles, internal reinforcing angles, control joints, casing beads, resilient rails, double-sided acoustic tape, J mould, tape on edge trims, edge profiles
Qualifications: Plasterboard fixers and stoppers need to be experienced and competent workers, familiar with materials and techniques specified. Evidence of experience by checking references at previous employers.
Offer: projects in the Netherlands and in Germany for a period of at least 1 year under EU-legislation with E-101 form
Financial aspects: salary around 8 euro net
Other: housing, work clothing, tools and transport from the housing facility to the workplace will be arranged by employer
Start date: projects will start half October 2008, qualified people can start from that point on at any time when official documents/preparation are ready
Way of Payment every two weeks : 8 euro per hour, 42-50 hours weekly, 1 off.

2. Welder
Core activity: melding various types of metal together for construction or other purposes.
Knowledge: using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements, application of following techniques MIG, TIG, MAG, E, CO2
Application: fabrication of machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels
Materials: equipment that’s often used are torches, hand held plasma cutting machines and computer systems that are programmed to complete specific designs through plasma cutting systems. Materials that can be welded include steel, brass, aluminum and virtually all other types of metals.
Qualifications: welders need to be experienced and competent workers, familiar with materials and techniques specified. Evidence of experience by checking references at previous employers and by up-to-date certificates. Mind that we are looking for both personnel that works inside a factory but also outdoor teams that might be asked to work on several heights.
Offer: projects in Germany for a period of at least 1 year under EU-legislation with E-101 form
Financial aspects: salary starting at 8 euro net

3. Fitter
Core activity: Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms
Knowledge: being able to work with detailed engineering drawings, cutting, shaping and bending pipe in preparation for welding
Application: a fitter and turner makes parts to fit other machines and also operates CNC-machines and lathes, centre lathes. Is also responsible for the fabrication of machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels
Materials: equipment that’s often used are torches, hand held plasma cutting machines and computer systems that are programmed to complete specific designs through plasma cutting systems. Materials that can be welded include steel, brass, aluminum and virtually all other types of metals (brass, mild steel, stainless steel, bright blue bar, …). Some fitters also operate milling and drilling machines.
Qualifications: fitters need to be experienced and competent workers, familiar with materials and techniques specified. Evidence of experience by checking references at previous employers.
Offer: projects in Germany for a period of at least 1 year under EU-legislation with E-101 form
Financial aspects: salary starting from 7 euro net
Other: housing, work clothing, tools and transport from the housing facility to the workplace will be arranged by employer
Start date: 1st November 2008
